Our Story
Hi everyone! My name is Tori and I would like to tell a short story about Treasures and our team of volunteers. Treasures is a little different, the Corio shop is a hub for our community to come and have a chat or for us to just listen. I took on the management role two years ago and with my dedicated team we have managed to create quite a unique place to shop. The team are all locals and are passionate about where we live and our community. We are one of the UnitingCare’s six Op’Shops and also see ourselves with a welfare role having helped many people who have since become regular customers and friends. This role has given us the opportunity to learn love and respect. Treasures is a special place for us all. May we continue the good work and carry it on into the future.
